Documents required to submit for the establishment registration of a branch of the foreign-funded company
 
1. Application for Establishment Registration of a Branch of the Foreign-funded Company;
2. Approval documents from the examining and approving authority (applicable to the situation where the establishment of a branch needs examination and approval from the examining and approving department according to laws and administrative regulations);
3. Articles of Association of the subordinate company (original);
4. Letter of Appointment of the branch head issued by the subordinate company (original) and copy of its Identity Certificate;
5. Copy of duplicate of the subordinate company's Business License (affix the official seal on it);
6. Use Certificate of Business Premise.
 
If the business premise is a self-owned property, copy of Housing Ownership Certificate shall be submitted and original will be returned after being verified; if the business premise is leased, the original of Lease Agreement and copy of the Lessor's Housing Ownership Certificate shall be submitted. If the copy of Housing Ownership Certificate cannot be provided in the above situations, the copy of other Use Certificates of Housing Ownership that can prove the property ownership shall be submitted. If the Lessor is a hotel or restaurant, copy of the Lessor's Business License shall also be submitted.
 
7. Pre-approval documents;
Pre-approval documents refer to the approval documents, copy of licenses or certifications related to the preceding approval, and they are applicable to the branch whose business scope includes the items which must be approved before registration according to laws, administrative regulations and regulations of the State Council.
 
8. Other relevant documents and certificates
Note: Copies are permitted to submit if originals are not specified to submit for the above materials; in time of submitting a copy, a note that “It is consistent with the original” shall be written clearly on the copy and the applicant shall affix the official seal or sign on it. Note: Other relevant documents and certificates include Housing Ownership Certificate of the Business Premise, copy of the Housing Ownership Certificate of Office Building Owner, copy of Lease Agreement, copy of House Lease Invoice.
